Way's We Can Make a Change
Don't laugh at racist, sexist, ageist, homophobic and other stereotypical jokes or assumptions.
Make an effort to get to know people different than you.
Think before you speak.
Don't make assumptions.
Support anti-prejudice and anti-racist organizations.
Do not give up or fail to speak up when you see racism in action.
"Racism has been around forever but it can definitely be decreased, only with a great amount of effort. Education is the key for many complicated issues we face in this world. Education can change the way humans think and lead us to a better world. We can fight racism with education. If we educate and teach empathy, then there will be less need to talk about how we can stop racism. It will be hard to stop racism if racist thoughts are still with us. It is up to us to prepare for the future by educating our family and others on the challenges of racism. Only then will we overcome."
